I have bought Sperry Top-Sider deck shoes for over 40 years and these are the best deck shoes I have heard. They are extremely comfortable and I wore them the first time my foot molded to the shoe. There was no need for a break-in period like most shoes.

I brought a pair of these shoes, while in the U.S. three years ago. They are simply the most comfortable shoes I ever owned. The memory can support internal cushioning and shock, either with or without socks. After three years of constant wear in the evenings and weekends both on and off boats, the only sign of wear was on the inside. I would recommend it to anyone.

Sperry Topsiders used to improve the quality boat shoes, but no longer be there. The soles of my Sperry Top-Sider boat shoes separately and good luck trying to return used shoes. I have purchased other shoes and boots with two layers of rubber on the sole and this is not new technology. Sperry hope not work on the process and the two types of rubber and come apart only when that happens, you are not on the water.
Comfort is marginal compared to other boat shoes and even after a break-in period, they are still my least comfortable shoes boat. Cushioning is good with the thicker sole, but come with the sole addition to negate that benefit.
Found I could not wear little help with my boat shoes so my next pair is from a company such as Timberland and LL Bean, the guarantees of their products and stands behind them.

I wear boat shoes since high school. My last pair was worn by almost ten years of use and I needed a new pair. I was “looks”, while in North trams and they had the Gold Cup version of the Sperry boat shoe I have worn over the years. This is the most comfortable boat shoe I have ever worn. The sole is good and feels great on the inside to foot. I have a wide foot, so I want to have a good fit, I fit a large, large shoe. The deerskin leather inside and memory foam really make this a comfortable shoe for my sockless boat shoe wearing feet.

These are normally hold comfortable shoes, but unfortunately it just under normal wear. The lining and collar had worn large holes in them within 9 months after purchase, with foam push through the holes in the collar. Moreover, the deposits have a tendency to stick your feet – very uncomfortable – if worn without socks. For the price, they are simply not worth the cost, but not for half the price, for that matter. Apparently, long gone is the day that Sperry’s shoes could be counted for their quality and durability, and since their warranty only covers “manufacturing defects”, and the problem with this ill-chosen materials, you will not be any satisfaction received by the attempt to return.
I would have given them 0 stars, but Amazon forces you to enter at least one.
