I bought the black in a size 8 They seem to fit true to size.
I like the look of this bow, with the exception of dorky. I am not a bow person. So I thought, I take out the bow. The arch was fixed with a little glue, so I will need to puree a button or a small ornament to the little place where the cover sheet was find, but I think it’s an improvement.
The boots are lined in a cream-colored vinyl. A dark material would have been much better, because it places where the seams will not line up perfectly and small pieces of bright material on the edges of the belts have to be seen. I have a couple of small sewing scissors and trim the patch to them less noticeable.
If you have wide feet, you’ll like this. If you narrow feet, beware – you may need to fit the buttons and ribbons to get fit properly. The buttons are functional (which surprised me), so they can be adjusted to fit larger or smaller with a little work, provided you do not mind losing the functionality of the buttons. There is a zipper inside so that the button functionality is not required.
I have medium-sized calves and can fit in most high boots. These are a good fit – not loose or fixed. If you have larger calves, there are some adjustments to space, and the mid-calf height will fit a wider range of calf sizes.
I do not care about the thin, smooth plastic put non-slip soles and some patches on them immediately. The footbed has support not much cushioning or arch, but the heel is low enough that they are not uncomfortable.
Love the unique style of velvet material and careful detailing. These are great boots costume but with the right outfit I will wear it no boring day.
