I was suggested that this shoe store by a salesperson in a brick and mortar as an excellent cross-training shoe, even if it technically a running shoe. (I have a pair in black, and would always ask where I got them when I
I a beginner in the preparation, but must say that even newcomers who weighs more than they should (and therefore the foot / ankle issues) these shoes are by far the most comfortable, supportive, “tennis shoes” that I have ever worn. An hour in the gym or walk in my neighborhood, and my feet are no worse for wear. These days even if it was long (6:00 to 7:30 pm) foot thoughs in hotels and downtown events, and was not complaining at the end of the day.
Definitely worth the price!

Let me say first of all, this shoe is a God sent!
Normally, I’d buy an actual running / walking shoe store as Pacers on my running shoes. But this most recent trip of mine, I did not want to drive 56 miles one way and blow the gas. So I went on the road to Famous Footwear. I want to replace my worn Asics Gel Enhance III ($ 69. 99) with a new pair of the same.
Then I stumbled across this. They looked almost exactly the same as the reinforcement and then I asked myself what is the difference between them was (besides the $ 99. 99 price tag on the 2140′s). Once I tried them, I thought, why, and the price was a moot point — they had enough cushioning to the supportive shoe I have ever slipped on my feet! Only at the convenience of some, I took one from the 2140′s and slipped to an improvement in the shoe and walked around the store with the 2 different shoes, so I feel the difference. It was remarkable! The 2140 had better support superior cushioning throughout (including the toe) and bow. I could not believe I found a shoe as on a common shoe store! So I grabbed a couple.
As a regular runner (3-4 times a week at a couple of miles per run) and the one who usually runs on asphalt, take my feet pretty intense . I have had significant problems with Charlie Horses in the arches of my feet after my run, even after wearing the improvement of the shoes. After running the 2140 for about a month I have had virtually no trouble. I’m not a knee problem. Suffice it to say, when you plunk down one hundred U.S. dollars on these, you get your costs and your feet will thank you for the sacrifice!

This is the new version of the Asics shoe that I had worn in the last few years. These are even better. I had terrible problems with foot pain. . . Waking up in the morning and as soon as my feet touched the ground hurts. I went to our local Footlocker Lady’s and had an informed official, who encouraged me, these Asics. My foot pain has gone. These are great!

WOW! Did I Asics before, but I had forgotten how great it felt completely new. It is not like other shoes that you wait until your feet have to get used to new shoes. . . no, no, the joy is NOW! Big shoes for a very fair price!
